The Islander on the Beach Hotel features Hawaiian plantation-style charm makes the Islander on the Beach Hotel truly unique. Located in the Coconut Plantation on Kauai's east coast, these landscaped grounds are situated on six acres of prime oceanfront property. This resort offers a full range of amenities and it has been given a Two and a half-diamond rating by AAA.
Most guests rooms offer a view of the ocean (as noted), though some room types specifically have a view of the resort's lush gardens areas. The rooms come equipped with a refrigerator and a coffee maker. Guests are offered dry cleaning, and there are laundry facilities onsite, as well. The staff is friendly and efficient, sure to make your Hawaiian vacation a memorable one.
Please note that the Aston Islander on the Beach will be enhancing their pool area from May 16, 2005 until June 16, 2005. During this time, the pool and pool bar will be unavailable. The entire renovation is set to be completed by June 16, 2005.
ASTON Islander on the Beach will begin a $10 million project to convert the property into a condominium hotel. The conversion will include a complete renovation of all guest rooms, pool & lobby areas. The project is scheduled to begin on Sept 6, 2004 & will be completed by April 30, 2005. To help minimize the impact to the guests, all room renovations will be done by building, so guests will not be accommodated in a building under renovation. All work will be limited to the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
